Brent  is a past student at Global Magmatic and Tectonic Laboratory. Brent’s research involves looking into the geochemistry of igneous rocks from the Southern Mariana Trench in the West Pacific. Using a portable XRF to acquire a rapid geochemical characterization has allowed a look into the geology of the Mariana forearc setting with a few rocks being analyzed commercially for additional accuracy and analysis. The process hopes to further develop the understanding of the area.
