To benefit patrons with hearing loss at Dallas Summer Musicals (DSM), faculty from the UT Dallas audiology program, Purdue University, and Idibri Consulting have collaborated to create a program called Hear Us Now!. The program offers innovative technology solutions to allow patrons with hearing loss access to the sound on stage.
Each summer, graduate students from the Hearing Health Lab and the UT Dallas doctor of audiology (AuD) program partner with DSM to attend performances with local area students to help them navigate the various technology options and fully enjoy the performance.
