Calls made to 911 on the UT Dallas main campus are routed to the Richardson Police Department for the purposes of identifying the need for fire or EMS/ambulance response. Calls not requiring either fire or EMS are transferred directly to the UT Dallas Police Department 911 Center for police response.

Blue Phone – Emergency Call Phones
Emergency call phones are located in multiple locations around the main campus and campus apartments. These are direct intercom systems to the UT Dallas 911 Center and also advise dispatch of the general location of the caller.
